Other Materials for Insulation Shell of Batch Tire Pyrolysis Equipment
Other Materials for Insulation Shell of Batch Tire Pyrolysis Equipment
The insulation shell of batch tire pyrolysis equipment usually has a multi-layer composite structure. In addition to common insulation cotton, it also includes the following key materials, which can be divided into inner insulation and heat insulation materials and outer protective structural materials:
I. Inner Insulation and Heat Insulation Materials (used to replace or cooperate with insulation cotton)
Aluminum silicate fiber (ceramic fiber)
It has excellent high-temperature resistance, with a long-term service temperature of 500~1200℃. It is the core insulation material for high-temperature areas such as the pyrolysis furnace body, and its heat insulation and thermal shock resistance are better than ordinary insulation cotton.
Refractory rock wool/basalt rock wool
It has higher fire resistance and compressive strength, suitable for the heat insulation buffer on the outer layer of the equipment, which can reduce heat conduction outward, and also has certain sound absorption and fire prevention effects.
Composite silicate insulation material
A closed-cell mesh material made of aluminum-magnesium silicate as the base material, with high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance, commonly used for the overall insulation plastering of the equipment's outer wall.
Aerogel felt
An ultra-high temperature insulation material with extremely low thermal conductivity, suitable for parts with high requirements for insulation efficiency, which can significantly reduce the temperature of the equipment's outer wall.
II. Outer Protective and Structural Materials
Refractory cement/fireproof castable
Directly applied to the outside of the insulation layer to form a hard fireproof protective layer, which can isolate open flames, prevent the insulation material from getting damp and falling off, and is a commonly used outer protection for batch equipment.
Carbon steel/color steel plate shell
As the outermost rigid protection, it is formed by welding steel plates and channel steel, fixing the inner insulation material, and also has the functions of waterproofing, impact resistance and corrosion resistance.
Glass fiber cloth/aluminum foil composite cloth
Wrapped on the outside of the insulation layer to play the role of waterproofing, moisture-proofing and heat reflection. In some scenarios, anti-corrosion paint or UV layer is additionally applied to extend the service life.
III. Typical Structure Reference
Taking mainstream domestic equipment as an example, the insulation shell often adopts a multi-layer composite structure of "steel plate shell → refractory cement → aluminum silicate fiber/rock wool → equipment body", which can not only meet the high-temperature heat insulation requirements above 1000℃, but also ensure the safe operation of the equipment.
