Direct Fuel Applications of Tire Oil

Tire oil is a high-calorific heavy fuel oil extracted from the pyrolysis of waste tires, featuring high calorific value and good combustion stability. It is an excellent alternative to fossil fuels such as coal and traditional heavy oil, with its direct fuel applications focusing on two core scenarios: industrial combustion and energy supply. It can be put into use without complex deep processing, boasting strong adaptability and low application costs. Its three core direct fuel uses are as follows:

Fuel for industrial boilers and kilns

As a mainstream alternative to coal and heavy oil, it is widely used for heating and heat supply in kilns and boilers across industrial scenarios including cement plants, glass factories, brick kilns, ceramic factories and thermal power plants. With a calorific value of up to 42~45 MJ/kg, it delivers stable combustion and sufficient heat release, which can accurately meet the continuous high heat load demand in industrial production and significantly reduce the fuel procurement costs of enterprises.

Blending component for marine fuel oil

After basic pretreatment such as decolorization, impurity removal and simple desulfurization, it can be blended into marine heavy fuel oil in a certain proportion as a raw material, effectively supplementing the market supply of marine fuel and meeting the fuel usage requirements for ship navigation. This is also a common and mature application method to improve the resource and economic utilization efficiency of tire oil at the current stage.

Fuel for small and medium-sized power generation equipment

It can be directly used as fuel for diesel generators, gas turbines, small internal combustion generator sets and other equipment. It is suitable for daily power supply in areas with insufficient power grid coverage such as remote villages, mining areas and field engineering bases; it can also serve as emergency power supply fuel for industrial plants, large shopping malls, data centers and other places, and meanwhile act as regular operating fuel for various small captive power stations, with the advantages of strong power supply stability and fast emergency response.
