Core Functions

Condensation & Recovery: Cool 300-500℃ high-temperature oil gas to ≤40℃ for liquefaction into liquid oil, improving oil yield;

Safety Protection: Prevent high-temperature impact and backfire, achieve micro-negative pressure with water seal, and eliminate leakage and explosion risks;

Circulation & Buffering: Store circulating water, stabilize water temperature/flow, and reduce energy consumption and wastewater discharge.


Structure & Material

Main Body: Horizontal/vertical tank with jacketed water sleeve/internal coil pipe, equipped with multi-layer baffle plates (to extend oil gas residence time), and counter-current arrangement of inlets and outlets (to enhance heat exchange);

Accessories: Temperature & pressure sensors, liquid level gauges, blowdown/overflow ports, water make-up valves; large-scale units are equipped with cooling towers + circulating pumps;

Materials: Q235 carbon steel (with anti-corrosive inner coating) for conventional working conditions, 304/316 stainless steel for corrosive working conditions; seamless steel pipes/copper pipes for coil pipes.


Key Parameters

Temperature: Oil gas inlet 300-500℃, outlet ≤40℃; cooling water inlet 25-30℃, outlet ≤45℃;

Pressure: System micro-negative pressure (-0.002~-0.005MPa), water side pressure ≤0.3MPa;

Design: 1.2-1.5 times peak load margin reserved for heat exchange area; circulating flow matched with heat load to prevent scaling and air blockage.


Operation & Maintenance

Operation Process

Preheating & Feeding → Full water filling for circulation establishment (water temperature 25-35℃) → Pyrolysis gas production → Oil gas heat exchange & condensation → Continuous cooling after furnace shutdown → Cooling tower cooling of circulating water for reuse.


Daily Maintenance

Daily: Check water temperature, liquid level, pressure and leakage;

Regular: Clean filters weekly, inspect water quality and add chemicals monthly, shut down for oil scale/scale cleaning quarterly/semi-annually;

Troubleshooting: Low condensation efficiency (descaling/increase flow rate/repair cooling tower); leakage (weld repair/seal replacement); abnormal pressure (pipe cleaning/adjust water seal).


Safety & Environmental Protection

Indirect heat exchange between oil gas and cooling water; oily wastewater shall be reused or discharged in compliance with regulations after treatment;

Equipped with temperature & pressure alarm and interlock shutdown device; automatically cut off heat source and increase cooling in case of over-temperature and over-pressure;

Regularly inspect anti-corrosive layers and welding joints; install fire and explosion protection facilities and emergency passages in the area.
