Pyrolysis Temperature of Aluminum-Plastic Pyrolysis Oil Production Equipment
The core pyrolysis temperature range of aluminum-plastic pyrolysis oil production equipment is 350~550℃, which is the main reaction interval for achieving efficient pyrolysis of plastics in aluminum-plastic waste and oil-gas production. The entire pyrolysis process is heated step by stage at different temperatures, each corresponding to a different reaction state, and the maximum temperature is usually controlled below 600℃ (to avoid coking, equipment wear and increased by-products).
The specific temperature stages are divided as follows:
Preheating stage (100~250℃): Mainly removes moisture and light component volatiles from the waste, with no obvious pyrolysis reaction, preparing for subsequent main pyrolysis.
Initial pyrolysis stage (250~350℃): The polymer chains of plastics start to break initially, a small amount of light oil and gas is precipitated, and the reaction is relatively mild.
Main pyrolysis stage (350~550℃): The core stage of plastic pyrolysis, where a large number of polymer chains break to generate oil and gas (the main production stage of pyrolysis oil). The reaction is the most complete, and the yield and quality of oil and gas are optimal.
Deep pyrolysis stage (550~600℃): For a small amount of difficult-to-pyrolyze plastic components, the temperature is moderately increased to complete deep decomposition. Temperature must be strictly controlled in this stage; exceeding 600℃ tends to produce a large amount of carbon black and coking substances, which adhere to the inner wall of the equipment, affect heat transfer and reduce oil quality.
In actual production, the temperature will be fine-tuned according to the composition of aluminum-plastic waste (e.g., the proportion of PE/PP plastics, the content of adhesive layers). For conventional pure aluminum-plastic waste, the optimal temperature control range is 400~480℃, which balances pyrolysis efficiency, oil yield and equipment operation stability.
