Safety Assurance Equipment for the Pyrolysis Section of an Oil Sludge Pyrolysis Refinery

The safety assurance equipment for the pyrolysis section is primarily designed to prevent fire, explosion, overpressure, abnormal temperature and pressure, and other safety risks under oxygen-free and high-temperature operating conditions. The core dedicated equipment is configured as follows:


Nitrogen protection system: Fills the furnace with nitrogen during furnace startup, shutdown, and abnormal working conditions such as sudden temperature and pressure fluctuations to isolate air and oxygen from entering the pyrolysis furnace, fundamentally preventing the explosion of oil-gas mixtures inside the furnace caused by oxygen mixing.


Pressure safety valve + emergency vent device: When the pressure inside the pyrolysis furnace exceeds the set safety value, the pressure safety valve automatically opens to relieve pressure; the matched emergency vent device guides the discharged high-temperature oil and gas to a safe area for treatment, avoiding equipment damage and secondary safety accidents caused by overpressure.


Online temperature and pressure monitoring and alarm system: Equipped with high-precision thermocouples and pressure transmitters to monitor the temperature and pressure parameters inside the furnace in real time. When the parameters exceed the safety threshold, an automatic audible and visual alarm is triggered, and it can also interlock with the feeding and heating systems for shutdown to terminate abnormal reactions in a timely manner.


Fire fighting and suppression system: Dry powder and carbon dioxide fire extinguishing devices are installed around the furnace body (adapted to the characteristics of oil-gas fires, avoiding secondary risks caused by water fire fighting). Fire detectors are set in key areas to achieve rapid fire detection and linked fire extinguishing.


Furnace body sealing and leakage detection device: High-sealing furnace flanges and seals are adopted, with supporting oil-gas leakage detectors to monitor the leakage at the joints of the furnace body and pipelines in real time. When the leakage exceeds the standard, an alarm is immediately triggered and an emergency disposal procedure is activated to prevent fire and explosion caused by oil-gas leakage in contact with open fire.
