Core Equipment for the Pyrolysis Section of an Oil Sludge Pyrolysis Refinery

The equipment in the pyrolysis section is configured around four core requirements: reaction, material conveying, heat recycling, and safety assurance, and mainly includes:

1. Core Pyrolysis Reactors

Horizontal Rotary Pyrolysis Furnace: The most mainstream model, with a closed rotating structure that ensures uniform heating of materials. Suitable for daily processing capacities of 10–100 tons, ideal for high-viscosity, impurity-containing oil sludge.


Fluidized Bed Pyrolysis Furnace: Features high heat transfer efficiency and fast reaction speed, suitable for large-scale projects with daily processing ≥50 tons, but requires strict control of raw material particle size.


Internal Heating Vertical Pyrolysis Furnace: High thermal energy utilization and uniform temperature distribution, suitable for small-to-medium projects and low-impurity oil sludge.


2. Feeding and Slag Discharge Equipment

Closed Screw Feeder: Dual-screw structure enables continuous and uniform feeding, while isolating air to avoid safety risks.


Water-Cooled Closed Slag Discharger: Cools and discharges high-temperature residues, ensuring system airtightness and operational safety.


3. Heat Recycling and Temperature Control Equipment

Gas Purification System: Purifies combustible gas generated during pyrolysis, removing dust and tar to prevent burner blockages.


Burner + Heat Exchanger: Uses purified gas to heat the furnace, achieving energy self-sufficiency and improving thermal efficiency.


PLC Temperature Control System: Real-time monitoring of furnace temperature and pressure to ensure stable reaction operation.


4. Safety Assurance Equipment

Nitrogen Protection System: Fills the furnace with nitrogen during startup, shutdown, or abnormal conditions to isolate oxygen and prevent explosions.


Pressure Safety Valve + Emergency Vent Device: Automatically relieves pressure when furnace pressure is abnormal to avoid equipment damage.
