Core Function of the Damping Tank in Batch-Type Waste Tire Pyrolysis Equipment
Core Function of the Damping Tank in Batch-Type Waste Tire Pyrolysis Equipment
It is adapted to the oil and gas working condition fluctuations of batch pyrolysis, stabilizes the oil and gas conveying system, and ensures the safe and efficient operation of downstream processes. The three specific core functions are as follows:
Pressure Stabilization and Pulsation Elimination to Prevent System Malfunctions
It counteracts the drastic fluctuations in the flow rate and pressure of pyrolysis oil and gas in the batch process (from zero to peak and then decline), absorbs the instantaneous pressure surge in the pipeline, and homogenizes the flow rate of oil and gas entering the condensation system, thus avoiding condenser material surging, severe pipeline vibration, seal leakage and other problems caused by pressure pulsation.
Secondary Heavy Oil Sedimentation to Prevent Condenser Blockage
It achieves gravity-based secondary sedimentation of trace heavy oil droplets not completely separated by the steam drum through its own buffer space, intercepts residual heavy oil, and prevents it from solidifying after cooling in the condenser and causing pipeline blockage.
Homogenization of Conveying Rhythm to Ensure Continuous Downstream Operation
It provides a stable medium input for subsequent downstream processes such as condensation, gas-liquid separation and oil-gas recovery, makes up for the batch defect of the batch process, ensures the continuous and stable operation of the downstream system, and improves the operational stability of the overall process.
In short, the damping tank acts as a voltage stabilizer and secondary filter for oil and gas conveying. It forms a two-stage buffer together with the steam drum and is specially designed to solve the problem of working condition fluctuations in batch pyrolysis.
