What is Pyrolysis Oil Refining Equipment?

Pyrolysis oil refining equipment is a complete set of environment-friendly equipment that cracks organic solid wastes such as waste tires, waste plastics, and oil sludge into fuel oil, carbon black, and combustible gas under the conditions of oxygen-free or oxygen-deficient, airtight environment and temperature ranging from 280℃ to 500℃. Its core lies in the breaking of polymer chains and the condensation recovery of oil and gas, realizing the resource utilization and harmless treatment of solid wastes.


Core Working Principle

Under an airtight, oxygen-free or slight negative pressure environment, raw materials are heated to break the polymer chains, generating oil gas, carbon black, steel wire (derived from waste tires) and combustible gas. The oil gas goes through multi-stage condensation to produce fuel oil. The combustible gas is purified and then recycled to the furnace for combustion-aiding. Flue gas is discharged up to the standard after environmental protection treatment.


Core Components

Pretreatment Unit: It performs crushing, screening and drying to improve pyrolysis efficiency.

Pyrolysis Reactor: A horizontal or vertical reaction kettle with temperature control and heating function, serving as the core unit.

Multi-stage Condensation System: It adopts tubular structure for graded recovery of heavy oil.

Tail Gas and Environmental Protection System: It purifies combustible gas, and conducts desulfurization, dust removal and deodorization to ensure up-to-standard emission.

Slag Discharge Unit: It collects by-products such as carbon black and steel wire.


Mainstream Types

Batch Type: Single-unit capacity ranges from 1 to 15 tons per day. It features low investment and is suitable for small-scale production, but requires furnace shutdown for feeding and slag discharge.

Continuous Type: Single-unit capacity ranges from 30 to 50 tons per day. It realizes synchronous feeding, pyrolysis, condensation and slag discharge, with advantages of good airtightness, environmental friendliness and high efficiency.

Applicable Raw Materials: Waste tires, waste plastics, waste rubber, oil sludge, acrylic, etc.


Main Products

Fuel oil (can be used as industrial fuel or refining raw material)

Carbon black (for further processing and reuse)

Combustible gas (recycled to the furnace for energy saving)
