Intermittent Waste Oil Refining Equipment
Intermittent Waste Oil Refining Equipment
Intermittent refining equipment is a batch-type pyrolysis device that converts waste tires, waste plastics, oil sludge and other wastes into fuel oil, carbon black and other resource-based products through high-temperature oxygen-free pyrolysis. It is widely used in small and medium-scale waste recycling projects.
Working Principle
Inside a sealed and oxygen-deficient reactor, raw materials are heated to 350–450°C to break down polymer chains and generate oil-gas mixture. The hot gas is cooled by condensers into liquid fuel oil. Non-condensable combustible gas is recycled as heating fuel. After reaction, the system is cooled to discharge residues such as carbon black and steel wires.
One full production cycle usually lasts 18 to 24 hours, with non-continuous batch operation.
Main Components
Core parts include main pyrolysis reactor, combustion heating system, condensing cooling system, tail gas treatment system, feeding and slag discharge system. The main furnace is mostly horizontal rotary or static structure made of high-temperature resistant steel plates, with a relatively simple structure.
Features
Advantages: low investment cost, strong adaptability to raw materials, no need for fine crushing, flexible operation, independent batch control, easy maintenance and mature technology.
Disadvantages: low production efficiency, high energy consumption and labor cost, large dust during slag discharge, strict environmental protection requirements, daily processing capacity generally 1–20 tons.
Application Scope
Mainly used for processing waste tires, waste plastics, oilfield oil sludge, waste rubber, etc. Waste plastics have a high oil yield of 50%–75%. Waste tires can produce fuel oil, carbon black and steel wires simultaneously.
Difference from Continuous Equipment
Intermittent equipment adopts batch production with low investment and low raw material requirements, suitable for small factories. Continuous equipment runs 24 hours non-stop with large processing capacity, but requires higher investment and crushed raw materials, more suitable for large-scale industrial plants.
