Process Flow of Waste Plastic to Oil
Process Flow of Waste Plastic to Oil
Sorting & PretreatmentRemove non-plastic impurities such as metal, stone, soil and water. Crush waste plastic into appropriate size for better pyrolysis efficiency.
FeedingSend pretreated waste plastic into the sealed pyrolysis reactor automatically or manually under oxygen-free condition.
Pyrolysis ReactionHeat the reactor to 350–500°C. Under high temperature and oxygen-free environment, plastic macromolecules break into small hydrocarbon molecules, forming oil and gas mixture.
CondensationOil and gas pass through the cooling system. Fuel oil is liquefied and collected in oil tank, while non-condensable combustible gas is separated.
Gas RecyclingThe non-condensable gas is purified and sent back to the combustion chamber to heat the reactor, saving fuel cost.
Flue Gas TreatmentTail gas is desulfurized, dedusted and deodorized to meet environmental emission standards before discharge.
Discharging ResidueAfter pyrolysis, the remaining carbon black and residue are discharged when the reactor is cooled.
Oil Refining (Optional)Crude oil can be further distilled, desulfurized and decolorized to get higher-quality diesel-like oil.
