Simplified Measures to Reduce the Harm of Oil Refined from Waste Tires to Humans
Simplified Measures to Reduce the Harm of Oil Refined from Waste Tires to Humans
Measures can be implemented from four aspects: source control, process protection, end-of-pipe treatment, and emergency management
Source control: Use closed and compliant pyrolysis equipment. Prohibit the illegal sale and use of tire-derived oil, and entrust it to qualified entities for disposal.
Process protection: Workers must wear professional protective gear such as gas masks and nitrile gloves. Install ventilation and gas alarm systems in production areas, and standardize operating procedures.
End-of-pipe treatment: Equip with a tail gas treatment system integrating dust removal, desulfurization, and adsorption. Oil-containing wastewater and hazardous waste must be properly treated before discharge or disposal.
Emergency management: Develop emergency response plans for leaks, poisoning, etc., and conduct regular drills. Establish occupational health records for employees and arrange regular physical examinations. Strengthen training and supervision, and shut down illegal workshops.
