Translation of Tire Pyrolysis Equipment Footprint Requirements

The footprint of tire pyrolysis equipment mainly depends on the equipment type, processing capacity, and supporting facility requirements, as detailed below:

1. By Equipment Type

Batch-type Equipment

The footprint of a single unit is approximately 300 square meters (30m × 10m).

When including raw material storage, product storage, office and rest areas, the overall site requires 600–800 square meters.

For a single unit with a processing capacity of 1–15 tons, the total footprint is about 450–600 square meters.

Continuous-type Equipment

A single 50-ton daily processing unit occupies about 700 square meters.

The overall footprint of a fully continuous unit is usually over 1,200 square meters.

For projects with an annual processing capacity of 20,000–30,000 tons, the production line may require more than 1,500 square meters.

2. By Production Scale

Small single unit (6–15 tons/day): Total footprint of 450–800 square meters.

Medium multi-unit or single continuous unit (over 50 tons/day): Total footprint of 1,200–1,800 square meters.

Large-scale projects (over 20,000 tons/year): Need to reserve more than 1,500 square meters for the production area. Additional space will be required for supporting processes like raw material pre-treatment and carbon black deep processing.

3. Site Planning Recommendations

Reserve areas for raw material storage, product tanks, environmental protection facilities (e.g., flue gas purification, wastewater treatment), and office space.

When multiple units are connected in series, some environmental facilities can be shared to save space.

Comply with local industrial park planning requirements to ensure safety and environmental protection distances.
