Storage Requirements for Tire Oil

Tire oil is a heavy fuel oil with high volatility, high viscosity and flammability. The core storage priorities are leakage prevention, volatilization prevention, fire and explosion prevention, and deterioration prevention. The key requirements are as follows:

Facilities and Site: Use special vertical carbon steel anti-corrosion storage tanks. The tank farm shall be equipped with anti-seepage bunds, oil and gas recovery systems and combustible gas alarm devices, and be located far from sensitive areas with good ventilation.

Temperature and Humidity: Maintain the temperature at 20℃~40℃ (strictly prohibit temperatures below 5℃ or above 50℃) and the relative humidity at ≤85%. Avoid excessive temperature differences and corrosion caused by dampness.

Sub-packaging and Temporary Storage: Conduct sub-packaging in a sealed environment and store the oil in special sealed containers with clear warning signs. Classify and store the containers in an anti-seepage and well-ventilated area; mixed storage and over-storage are strictly prohibited.

Daily Inspection: Implement sealed loading and unloading with the oil and gas recovery system activated. Conduct regular equipment inspections, keep complete inspection records, and promptly handle abnormalities such as leakage and volatilization.

Safety and Environmental Protection: Equip sufficient emergency supplies, eliminate unorganized emissions, and strictly prevent soil and groundwater pollution caused by leakage.
