Pyrolysis Plant Damping Tank
The material of the impingement baffle/diversion cylinder at the inlet of the damping tank is identical to that of the main damping tank body. It is primarily made of temperature-resistant, corrosion-resistant and erosion-resistant steel tailored for the working conditions of batch waste tire pyrolysis, with no separate special material selection. The mainstream materials are divided into three categories, adapted to different process conditions, as follows:
Q345R: The most universal and mainstream type, suitable for the vast majority of conventional batch pyrolysis working conditions. It can withstand the high temperature of 250-350℃ of pyrolysis oil and gas, resist slight corrosion by sulfides, and features good plate toughness and impact resistance to endure the continuous scouring of high-speed oil and gas. The thickness is uniformly selected as 8-12mm, balancing structural strength and economic efficiency.
Q245R: Suitable for pyrolysis working conditions with long-term constant temperature and low-sulfur raw materials. Its temperature and pressure resistance meets basic operational requirements, and the material cost is slightly lower than Q345R, serving as an economical alternative for conventional working conditions. The thickness is also 8-12mm.
304/316 Stainless Steel: Suitable for working conditions involving high-sulfur raw materials and highly corrosive oil and gas. 316 stainless steel has better corrosion resistance than 304, which can effectively resist the corrosion of high-concentration sulfides and acidic components in pyrolysis oil and gas, preventing the impingement baffle/diversion cylinder from failure due to corrosion-induced thinning. The optional thickness is 6-10mm (stainless steel has superior impact resistance and structural strength, allowing for appropriate thinning).
Supplementary Material Selection Principles:
No non-standard materials are used; all materials are special steel for pressure vessels, complying with the GB150 standard.
The welding joints use the same material as the base plate. Anti-corrosion/passivation treatment is conducted after welding (for stainless steel materials) to prevent intergranular corrosion.
