The design upper temperature limit of Q345R, the main material of the damping tank, is 475℃. This is the national standard rated long-term service temperature threshold for this material as a pressure vessel special steel plate, which is fully suitable for the actual working condition of 250-350℃ oil and gas in the damping tank of the batch-type waste tire pyrolysis process. It can stably withstand this temperature range for a long time amid the temperature fluctuations (heating - constant temperature - cooling) of the batch process without the risk of thermal failure.


Supplementary Key Application Points

Short-term over-temperature resistance: Q345R can withstand a high temperature of about 500℃ for a short time, which is only for emergency working conditions and shall not be operated for a long time, so as to avoid the decrease of material strength caused by the change of metallographic structure.


Process adaptability: The temperature of oil and gas in the damping tank is much lower than its upper temperature limit. Combined with the good thermal fatigue resistance of this material, it perfectly matches the frequent temperature fluctuations of the batch pyrolysis process and is a cost-effective choice for this working condition.


National standard basis: This temperature resistance index complies with the material performance provisions for Q345R specified in GB 713-2014 Steel Plates for Boilers and Pressure Vessels, and also serves as a general reference standard for pressure vessel design.
