Factors Considered in the Design and Manufacture of Gas Separator

The design and manufacture of the gas separator shall take multiple key factors into account. First, reasonable volume and internal structure are required to reduce gas flow velocity, realize gravity sedimentation and effective gas-liquid separation, and adopt baffles and flow guiding structures to optimize airflow direction. Second, high-temperature and corrosion-resistant pressure vessel materials shall be selected to resist erosion from high-temperature oil gas, acid components and heavy tar, ensuring structural strength and overall sealing performance under micro-pressure working conditions. Third, working pressure, safety pressure relief and pressure stabilization performance should be fully considered, with reserved interfaces for pressure gauges and maintenance openings to guarantee operational safety. Fourth, the layout of air inlet, air outlet, oil drainage and slag discharge ports shall be rationally arranged to facilitate impurity deposition and regular cleaning. In addition, standardized welding technology, internal and external anti-corrosion treatment, overall structural rigidity and matching with the overall equipment pipeline layout are also essential, which can effectively prevent blockage, oil coke accumulation and gas leakage, and improve the stable diversion and separation efficiency of the whole system.
